Job Description

Implement and maintain risk management frameworks, internal controls and assessment methodologies.
Prepare and oversee regulatory reports, including Risk Management reports and Pillar I, Pillar II and Pillar III requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of Risk Management reports to CySEC and other relevant authorities.
Organise and participate in Risk Management Committee meetings, including preparing reports, documentation and follow up actions.
Prepare risk assessments, management reports and recommendations for Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
Monitor developments in CySEC and EU regulations, ensuring that risk management procedures remain compliant.
Advise the Board and Senior Management on risk exposure, regulatory obligations and improvements to internal risk controls.
Coordinate with internal departments, external auditors and regulatory authorities on matters relating to risk management.
Support regulatory inspections, audits and reviews, ensuring appropriate documentation and corrective actions.
Provide training and guidance to employees and Senior Management on risk management procedures and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all Risk Management activities, reports and regulatory obligations are completed within the required deadlines.

Minimum 2 years of direct experience as a Risk Manager within a regulated financial services company.
CySEC Advanced Certificate is mandatory.
Previous experience working within a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage the complete Risk Management function, including its operational and regulatory responsibilities.
Practical experience creating, maintaining and monitoring Risk Registers and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
Solid knowledge of regulatory risk reporting, particularly Pillar I, Pillar II and Pillar III.
Experience preparing Risk Management reports and supporting CySEC regulatory submissions.
