Software Engineer (Mid / Senior)

Job Description

Our partner is expanding its software engineering team and is looking for Mid and Senior Software Engineers to develop tools and frameworks that enable AI applications to run efficiently on advanced processor hardware.

You will work across several layers of the software stack, including kernel optimization, parallel processing, workload analysis, framework integration and system performance. The role involves close collaboration with hardware and AI engineering teams, with direct influence on software architecture and processor performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize system software and runtime frameworks

  • Improve kernel performance and overall system efficiency

  • Support parallel and distributed workload execution

  • Profile applications and identify performance bottlenecks

  • Optimize software for processor architecture

  • Work on workload analysis and performance tuning

  • Support software packaging, distribution and deployment

  • Debug complex software and performance issues

  • Collaborate closely with hardware and AI engineering teams

  • Contribute to software architecture and optimization decisions

Requirements

Mid

  • 4+ years of relevant software engineering experience

Senior

  • 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience

For both levels

  • Strong C/C++ development experience

  • Python

  • Linux environments

  • Software profiling and performance optimization

  • Parallel programming

  • Workload analysis and performance tuning

  • Understanding of system level software behaviour

  • Strong debugging and problem solving skills

  • English level C1

  • Bachelor, Master or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field

Optional / Desired

  • RISC V or RISC V Vector assembly

  • C/C++ and Python interoperability

  • Architecture based optimization

  • CUDA or ROCm

  • Bare metal programming

  • LLVM or GCC

  • AI application development

  • ONNX Runtime

  • Experience working close to processor or accelerator hardware

  • Master or PhD
