Our client is looking for an experienced Print & Finishing Technician to take production briefs through to completed products. Combining practical equipment skills with sound production judgement, you’ll help determine how each job should be produced and ensure the finished work meets the required standard.

Responsibilities:

As a Print & Finishing Technician, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Review job requirements and identify appropriate materials, production methods and finishing options.

• Prepare, set up and operate printing and related production equipment.

• Oversee jobs throughout production, checking accuracy, consistency and finish.

• Produce a range of customised items, including promotional products, display graphics and event collateral.

• Complete finishing tasks and inspect products before they are handed over.

• Identify routine equipment or output problems and make the necessary adjustments.

• Explain technical options to colleagues and, when needed, clients.

• Organise your workload and workspace to support timely delivery.

What you’ll bring:

• Practical experience in a printing or production environment.

• An understanding of how different print processes, surfaces and finishes affect the final result.

• The ability to assess a brief and recommend a suitable production approach.

• Careful attention to detail and a consistent focus on quality.

• Good organisation and the ability to manage changing production priorities.

• Confidence discussing job requirements and explaining technical considerations.

• Experience in digital printing, wide-format production or printing onto merchandise would be beneficial.
