Our client is seeking a Finance Administrator to support everyday accounting activities across the business. You’ll keep financial information organised, help manage incoming and outgoing payments, and work closely with colleagues to ensure records are accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities:

As a Finance Administrator, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Record day-to-day transactions and maintain supporting documentation across departments.

• Handle supplier invoices, purchase orders and payment processing.

• Check account balances, investigate discrepancies and complete reconciliations.

• Track unpaid invoices and follow up on overdue amounts.

• Assist with financial reporting and the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts.

• Work with colleagues to ensure income and costs are recorded against the correct departments.

• Administer petty cash and process expense reimbursements.

• Gather records for audits and internal compliance reviews.

• Follow established financial procedures and applicable accounting requirements.

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in an accounting support or finance administration position.

• A sound grasp of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals.

• Confidence using Excel and accounting platforms such as Xero or Odoo.

• A careful approach to handling figures and checking information.

• The ability to prioritise tasks and meet reporting and payment deadlines.

• Clear communication skills and confidence working with different departments.

• A dependable approach, whether managing tasks independently or supporting colleagues.
