Corporate Events Coordinator
Job Description
Our client is looking for a Corporate Events Coordinator to organise and deliver group activities and company events in Malta and Gozo. Combining office-based planning with event-day responsibilities, you’ll work closely with clients and suppliers to turn initial ideas into well-organised experiences.
The role
You’ll take ownership of the coordination process, keeping clients informed, arrangements on track and everyone involved clear on what needs to happen.
Your background
Experience in events, hospitality, marketing or a related coordination role would be helpful. You should enjoy working with people and feel equally comfortable managing detailed administration and taking a practical role on-site.
Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Events Coordinator, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Discussing clients’ aims, preferences and practical requirements, then proposing suitable event options.
Putting together costings, proposals, itineraries and supporting paperwork.
Arranging venues, activities, equipment and supplier services.
Maintaining accurate booking records, calendars and event information.
Coordinating internal teams and external partners ahead of each event.
Attending events to oversee delivery, support participants and handle any changes or issues.
Developing new activity ideas and identifying ways to improve existing experiences.
Maintaining positive working relationships with customers, venues and service providers.
Our client is looking for someone who:
Can manage several bookings and deadlines while keeping track of the details.
Communicates clearly and confidently in English, both in writing and in person.
Brings fresh ideas and takes initiative when something needs resolving.
Works independently while keeping colleagues and suppliers informed.
Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Can attend events across Malta and Gozo, with occasional evening or weekend work.
A driving licence is required and additional language skills would be advantages.
