Our client operates within the events, exhibitions and branded merchandise industry, supporting projects from planning and logistics through to setup and delivery. They are looking for an Event Operations Assistant to join their team in Malta on a full-time, on-site basis.

This is a hands-on role supporting the preparation, transport and setup of equipment and materials for events.

Responsibilities:

As a Logistics Assistant, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Supporting logistics for events and exhibitions.

• Preparing, packing and organising equipment and materials.

• Monitoring inventory and keeping stock records up to date.

• Coordinating deliveries and shipments to meet event schedules.

• Liaising with suppliers, clients and colleagues.

• Assisting with event setup and maintaining equipment.

Requirements:

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• A practical approach and willingness to carry out physical tasks, including packing, lifting and event setup.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required for events.

• A valid driving license.

• Experience in logistics, operations or events is welcome but not essential.

• Familiarity with spreadsheets, inventory software or logistics systems would be an advantage.
