Media Buyer (PPC)
Job Description
Our client is a fast-growing international digital marketing company with a strong focus on performance marketing and customer acquisition across regulated online industries.
They are looking for a driven and analytical Media Buyer (PPC) to join their team in Malta. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-volume paid search campaigns, managing performance across competitive international markets while collaborating with experienced marketing and product teams.
Location: On-site – Malta
Responsibilities:
As a Media Buyer (PPC), your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Build, launch, and manage PPC campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
Manage Search, Performance Max, App, and Remarketing campaigns.
Optimize campaign performance based on CPA, ROI, conversion quality, and acquisition targets.
Conduct keyword research, audience analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
Test and optimize ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies.
Scale campaigns across multiple regulated international markets.
Ensure campaigns comply with platform advertising policies and relevant regulations.
Monitor tracking, attribution, and conversion data using analytics and measurement tools.
Produce regular performance reports and identify opportunities for further growth.
Collaborate closely with Design, Product, Tech, Ad Operations, and Commercial teams to improve campaign performance.
Stay up to date with PPC best practices, platform updates, and industry trends.
Requirements:
1-2 years of hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns on Google Ads and/or Microsoft Ads.
Strong experience running Search campaigns within competitive industries.
Experience working across regulated markets is highly desirable.
Previous exposure to iGaming, online betting, fintech, or other performance-driven industries would be an advantage.
Strong understanding of:
Keyword strategy and match types
Bid management and optimization
Quality Score and conversion optimization
Landing page performance
Experience managing substantial monthly advertising budgets.
Familiarity with analytics, attribution, and tracking platforms.
Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, with experience using Google Analytics or similar tools.
Fluent in English.
