As part of our continued growth, we are looking for two hungry, ambitious, commercially minded Recruitment Consultants who want more than just a job. We want people who want to build something. This role is for someone who loves people, understands the complexity that comes with dealing with clients and candidates, and has the maturity to manage relationships with patience, confidence, and commercial intelligence. At the same time, you need to be target-driven, resilient, and motivated by growth, both your own and the company’s.
This is not a role for someone who simply wants to process vacancies. It is an opportunity to build your own desk, develop your own market, grow your personal brand, and play a direct role in the future of Hireroo.
You will work closely with our established Malta team, but you will also be expected to take real ownership of your success. We will support you, guide you, and give you the tools, but ultimately, this role is for someone who has the drive to turn opportunity into results.
The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant at Hireroo, you will be responsible for building and managing your own client and candidate portfolio. You will identify opportunities, win new business, develop strong relationships, and manage the full recruitment process from first conversation through to successful placement.
You will be expected to think commercially, act proactively, and approach your desk as if it is your own business within the business. That means understanding your market, knowing your clients, building strong candidate relationships, spotting opportunities, and consistently working towards clear targets.
You will need to be confident enough to speak to decision-makers, curious enough to understand what clients really need, and people-focused enough to support candidates properly throughout their career decisions.

Responsibilities:
As a Recruitment Consultant, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Building, managing, and growing your own recruitment desk
• Developing a strong client and candidate portfolio within your chosen market
• Proactively identifying, approaching, and onboarding new clients
• Building genuine, long-term relationships with clients through a consultative and commercially aware approach
• Sourcing, engaging, and representing high-quality candidates
• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from business development and sourcing to interviews, offers, negotiation and onboarding
• Understanding each client’s hiring needs, company culture, team structure, and business goals
• Providing tailored recruitment solutions rather than generic CV sending
• Working towards individual targets while contributing to the wider growth of the business
• Sharing market insights, candidate intelligence, client opportunities, and business leads with the team
• Representing Hireroo at networking events, industry conferences, meetups, and business gatherings
• Building your own personal brand in the market as a trusted recruitment professional
• Contributing ideas, feedback, and commercial insight to help shape the company’s continued expansion
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who is ambitious, driven, resilient, and commercially sharp.
You should be the kind of person who enjoys speaking to people, building relationships, and understanding what makes them tick. Recruitment is a people business, but it is also a sales business, a relationship business, and a problem-solving business. You need to be comfortable managing different personalities, expectations, pressures, and moving parts without losing focus.
You should be solution-oriented, not excuse-oriented. Someone who asks, “How do we make this work?” rather than waiting for someone else to fix the problem.
We are especially interested in people who have recruitment experience, particularly in a 360 or business-development-focused role. However, if you do not have direct recruitment experience but you have the hunger, network, confidence, commercial sense, and drive to succeed, we would still be interested in speaking with you.
Requirements:
• Previous recruitment experience, ideally in a 360 recruitment or business-development-focused role
• Alternatively, a strong network, commercial mindset, and proven hunger to succeed
• Proven ability to build genuine relationships and win trust
• Confidence in approaching new clients and developing business opportunities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to speak to candidates, hiring managers, founders, and senior decision-makers
• A consultative mindset with the ability to understand client needs beyond the job description
• Entrepreneurial attitude and genuine interest in helping grow a business
• Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-driven approach to work
• Ability to work towards targets and take ownership of personal performance
• Strong relationship management skills
• Attention to detail and genuine care for doing things properly
• Resilience, maturity, and the ability to manage the highs and lows of recruitment
• A people-first mindset, combined with strong commercial awareness
