Internal Audit Executive
Job Description
Our client is seeking an Internal Audit Executive to support the coordination and administration of internal audit engagements. This role is suited to a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational skills and an interest in process improvement and digital tools.
Location: On-site - Mosta
Responsibilities:
As an Internal Audit Executive, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Coordinate internal audit projects and engagements
Gather, organise, and maintain audit documentation
Support senior auditors during audit planning and execution
Prepare and update project status reports
Assist with administrative and operational audit-related tasks
Use and adopt AI-based tools to improve efficiency and workflows
Ensure documentation and audit activities are completed accurately and on time
Support compliance with local regulatory requirements and IIA Standards
Requirements:
1–2 years of experience in a similar role
Previous experience using Scoro will be considered an asset
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Copilot
Strong organisational and coordination skills
Background in project coordination or business analysis will be considered an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
