Our client is seeking an Accounting Associate to join their growing team. This role is ideal for candidates looking to further develop their accounting knowledge while gaining exposure to client bookkeeping, VAT, payroll and general accounting support.

Location: On-Site – Mosta

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Associate, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Handle client bookkeeping and general accounting tasks

• Liaise with clients and respond to requests in a timely manner

• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and audit support files

• Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT Returns and Recap Declarations

• Support payroll preparation and related administrative duties

Requirements:

• Currently in the early stages of ACCA studies or in possession of an O Level in Accountancy

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard office tools

• Able to work independently and use initiative

• Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
