Our client is looking for an FP&A Analyst to join their finance team in Malta on a hybrid basis.

The role will focus on financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting senior finance stakeholders with clear insights that help guide business decisions within a fast paced digital environment.

Location: Hybrid - Gzira

Responsibilities:

As a Financial Planning Analyst, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.

• Analyse financial performance, highlighting trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.

• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including tracking actual performance against planned figures.

• Maintain accurate financial data across internal reporting tools and finance systems.

• Work closely with different departments to collect and validate data needed for reporting and analysis.

• Assist with management reports, business reviews, and ad hoc financial projects.

• Ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, and aligned with internal policies and accounting standards.

• Support the Head of Controlling with deeper financial analysis and business performance insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar field.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial analysis, reporting, controlling, or a similar finance position.

• ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or similar qualification would be considered an asset.

• Strong Excel skills, including pivots, lookups, formulas, and financial modelling.

• Experience using ERP, reporting, or finance systems.

• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualisation tools would be beneficial.

• Previous experience in iGaming, affiliate marketing, or a fast paced online business would be a strong plus.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to explain financial information clearly.

• Comfortable working with different teams and supporting senior stakeholders with accurate, useful data.
