Our client is looking to hire a Risk Manager with strong hands on experience, ideally within a regulated financial services environment in Cyprus. The role is operational in nature, focusing on maintaining risk registers, coordinating committee activities, preparing regulatory reports, and managing day to day risk function responsibilities.

This position is purely focused on risk management, it is not related to dealing or order transmission functions. The successful candidate will be fully dedicated to risk responsibilities.

Location: Cyprus, Limassol

Responsibilities:

As a Risk Manager, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Lead the company’s risk function, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks

• Act as a member of the Risk Management Committee

• Monitor risk exposure and provide clear reporting and recommendations

• Stay updated on relevant local and EU regulations and communicate updates to senior stakeholders

• Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies

• Oversee regulatory submissions such as Pillar I, II, and III reports

• Maintain and update the internal risk register and ensure appropriate KRIs are in place

• Provide internal training on risk and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Law, Business, or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a risk role within a regulated environment

• CySEC Advanced Certificate is mandatory

• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks and practical implementation

• Fluent in English

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
