Our client is a well established corporate services provider supporting international iGaming companies with legal, compliance and operational solutions. They are currently looking to bring on a Legal Counsel to join their growing team in Malta.

In this role, you will work closely with the Legal and Compliance Manager, supporting a portfolio of iGaming clients across multiple jurisdictions. You will be involved in reviewing and drafting agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing day to day legal support to both internal stakeholders and external clients.

The position offers strong exposure to the iGaming space, working with operators, suppliers and related entities, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to deepen their experience in a fast paced and regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Lawyer, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements including B2B and B2C contracts, supplier agreements and service agreements

• Supporting the Legal and Compliance Manager on ongoing legal and regulatory matters

• Assisting with licensing and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions

• Advising internal teams and clients on legal risks and compliance considerations

• Supporting with corporate governance, internal policies and procedures

• Liaising with external counsel and regulatory bodies where required

• Assisting with AML, GDPR and general compliance related matters

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer or in the final stages of qualification

• Previous experience in a legal role, ideally within iGaming, fintech or a corporate services provider

• Strong understanding of commercial contracts and regulatory frameworks

• Exposure to multi jurisdictional environments would be considered an asset

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Excellent communication skills in English
