Our client is a corporate services provider based in Malta, offering support across accounting, corporate, and advisory services.

For the role you’ll be looking after: assisting with client accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting tax and audit processes, and contributing to the smooth management of client portfolios.

Location: Hybrid - Malta (2 days remote, 3 days from office after probation)

Responsibilities:

As a Client Accounts Executive, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assist clients with accounting, corporate, and fiscal requirements

• Maintain and update client accounting records

• Ensure records are aligned with internal risk and compliance policies

• Support the preparation of management accounts in line with applicable standards

• Prepare and submit direct and indirect tax returns

• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors

• Carry out general accounting duties as required

• Support management in maintaining client portfolios

Requirements:

• ACCA partly qualified or in progress, or equivalent qualification

• Minimum 2 years experience in a client accounting role

• Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting standards

• Strong communication, organisation, and problem solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

• Experience with cloud accounting systems such as Xero is considered an asset
