Our client, a leading lifestyle, events, and entertainment digital platform in Malta, is expanding its editorial team and is seeking a Digital Lifestyle Journalist.

This is not a traditional newsroom position. Our client is seeking a journalist who understands the blend of editorial credibility, social media awareness, and digital storytelling.

The successful candidate will contribute to lifestyle coverage through written features, interviews, short-form video scripts, and digital-first content, working closely with editorial and digital teams.

Location: On-site – Mriehel

Responsibilities:

As a Digital Lifestyle Journalist, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Produce engaging lifestyle, travel, and entertainment features covering dining, hospitality, events, and curated experiences.

• Conduct interviews with restaurateurs, chiefs, entrepreneurs, and creatives.

• Contribute to video content formats, including short-form interviews and social media reels.

• Write captions and adapt content for social media platforms.

• Attend launches, events, and media previews as required.

Requirements:

• Strong writing and storytelling ability.

• Digitally fluent with a clear understanding of social media.

• Confident interviewer with strong interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable appearing on camera when required.

• Organised, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.

• Passionate about lifestyle, food, culture, and experiences.

• Experience in media, journalism, or content creation will be considered an asset.
