PCB Lead
Job Description
Our client is expanding their hardware engineering team and is looking for a PCB Lead to drive the design and development of advanced hardware systems that support high performance processor solutions.
In this role, you will lead PCB design activities across the full development cycle, from concept to production. You will collaborate closely with physical design and post silicon validation teams, ensuring high quality, reliable and market ready hardware. You will also contribute to architecture decisions and guide a team of engineers in delivering complex multi layer board designs.
Location: Barcelona, Spain - Hybrid
Responsibilities:
As a PCB Lead, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Define and drive PCB architecture based on input from multiple stakeholders
Lead the design and development of complex multi layer PCBs
Manage and mentor a team of PCB design and layout engineers
Collaborate with physical design and validation teams to ensure alignment with silicon
Oversee signal and power integrity analysis to ensure optimal performance
Manage routing for high pin count components and advanced packaging
Ensure compatibility with industry standards and hardware interfaces
Support validation, testing and certification activities where required
Track project progress, revisions and production processes
Ensure timely delivery of high quality hardware solutions
Requirements:
8 plus years of experience in PCB design and development
Bachelor, Master or PhD in Electronics, Engineering or related field
Strong experience with PCB design tools such as Siemens, Cadence or Altium
Experience with signal and power integrity analysis tools
Experience with high speed interfaces such as PCIe and DDR or LPDDR
Strong background in multi layer PCB design and routing
Experience working with high density components and complex packages
Understanding of power distribution in high frequency environments
Familiarity with industry standards and hardware interfaces
Experience leading teams or projects
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
English level C1
