Business Development Manager
Job Description
Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of clients while supporting new business acquisition across their product ecosystem.
This role combines relationship management, commercial performance oversight, and new business development within the iGaming sector. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to drive client growth, ensure successful integrations, and identify new market opportunities.

Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Own a portfolio of key clients, serving as the primary commercial point of contact.
Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business model, player base, and strategic priorities.
Conduct regular performance reviews (monthly/quarterly), aligning on targets, action plans, and next steps.
Identify risks (performance, regulatory, operational) and coordinate mitigation plans.
Monitor client KPIs (GGR, NGR, margin, bet count, player activity, game mix) and translate data into actionable insights.
Identify growth opportunities through portfolio optimisation, content gaps, new markets, and promotional strategies.
Prepare internal and external performance reports, QBR decks, and revenue projections for assigned accounts.
Support the Head of Sales & Business Development in managing the sales cycle for new prospects.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads, prepare tailored proposals, and participate in pitches and negotiations.
Maintain a structured pipeline including both existing client growth initiatives and new lead opportunities.
Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Operations to coordinate content rollout, supplier launches, and product updates for your accounts.
Ensure clients are leveraging key content (top-performing titles, new releases, live products) as part of their strategy.
Flag and prioritise client-impacting issues and follow through until resolution, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
Work closely with Tech, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to ensure alignment on commercial, operational, and contractual matters for your portfolio.
Provide structured client feedback to Product and Commercial leadership on roadmap priorities, feature gaps, and market positioning.
Contribute to internal documentation and playbooks for account management and business development best practices.
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes affecting clients and target markets.
Share structured insights internally to support commercial strategy, pricing, and product positioning
Requirements:
3–5+ years’ experience in business development or senior account management in iGaming or a related tech/B2B environment.
Proven experience managing a revenue-owning portfolio and achieving growth targets.
Strong relationship-building skills with senior client stakeholders (commercial, product, marketing, finance).
Solid commercial and contractual understanding; able to support negotiations with guidance from Legal and senior leadership.
Data-driven mindset, comfortable working with performance dashboards and financial KPIs and translating insights into actionable plans.
Ability to balance strategic planning (growth, roadmaps, markets) with hands-on account management (issues, launches, daily follow-ups).
High level of ownership and accountability for both client performance and internal coordination.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
