Baltics Compliance Manager
Job Description
Our client is an international group operating within gaming technology and related services, with a growing presence across multiple regulated jurisdictions. They are seeking a Baltics Compliance Manager, to be based in Malta and take ownership of regulatory compliance across the Baltic region.
This position will play a key role in safeguarding the company’s licences and ensuring ongoing regulatory alignment, while acting as a trusted advisor to the business on Baltic regulatory matters.

Responsibilities:
As a Baltics Compliance Manager, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Own and oversee compliance operations across the Baltic markets, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulatory and licensing requirements
• Manage licence applications, renewals, variations, and ongoing licence maintenance activities
• Act as the internal subject matter expert on Baltic regulatory frameworks, providing guidance on regulatory interpretation and compliance risks
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations, implementing changes where required
• Serve as the primary point of contact with Baltic regulators, tax authorities, and relevant external bodies
• Coordinate and support regulatory inspections, audits, and reviews, including preparation of documentation and responses
• Liaise with external legal and regulatory advisors to support compliance initiatives and regulatory submissions
• Review products, operational processes, and marketing materials to ensure regulatory compliance
• Identify, assess, and escalate compliance risks, supporting remediation actions in a timely manner
• Draft, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures relevant to the Baltic markets, including AML and responsible gaming
• Support AML and RG processes in collaboration with internal teams
• Provide compliance advice, guidance, and training to internal stakeholders
• Assist teams such as customer support, technical compliance, AML, and RG on complex or high risk cases
• Keep senior management informed on compliance status, regulatory changes, and key risks
• Support the preparation and translation of regulatory documentation between English and a Baltic language where required
Requirements:
• Minimum two years’ experience in a regulated gambling compliance role covering one or more Baltic markets
• Fluency in at least one Baltic language, ideally native level, alongside fluent English
• Strong knowledge of Baltic gambling regulations, including licensing, AML, consumer protection, and advertising
• Good understanding of the wider gambling industry, with poker knowledge considered an advantage
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong organisational, analytical, and risk assessment skills
• High attention to detail and structured working approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and service oriented stakeholder management style
