Our client is a well-established firm that provides a wide range of services within the regulatory and corporate sectors. They support businesses with compliance, licensing, advisory, and operational solutions, particularly within highly regulated industries. With a multidisciplinary team and a client-focused approach, they assist both startups and established entities in navigating complex legal and financial frameworks.
They are currently expanding their Audit team and are seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join their existing group of auditors. This is a great opportunity for qualified and experienced individuals looking to advance their career in audit.
Location: Hybrid - Msida
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Audit Associate, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Applying generally accepted accounting principles and reporting rules where applicable, as well as ensuring accurate financial statement presentation
Gaining an understanding of the client’s business operations
Proactively interacting with client management to gather information, resolve issues, and provide recommendations for business and process improvements
Managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
Exercising integrity and risk awareness when handling confidential information
Adapting quickly to changing client and business needs
Requirements:
Fully ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years previous experience in an Audit role
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel considered an asset
Strong communication skills in English and Maltese, both written and spoken
Self motivated, proactive, and able to maintain a positive approach
Strong organisational skills with the ability to deliver work accurately and efficiently
