Client Accounts Executive
Job Description
Our client is a Malta-based corporate advisory firm that provides accounting, legal, management consulting and fiduciary services across multiple industries.
For the role you’ll be looking after: assisting clients with their accounting, corporate and fiscal requirements, updating and maintaining clients’ records in line with risk and compliance policies, preparing management accounts and tax returns, managing the external audit process and supporting the smooth running of a client portfolio.
Location: Hybrid - Malta
Responsibilities:
As an Client Accounts Executive, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assist clients with accounting, corporate, and fiscal requirements
- Maintain and update client accounting records accurately
- Ensure client records are kept in line with internal risk and compliance policies
- Support in the preparation of management accounts in line with applicable accounting standards
- Prepare and submit direct and indirect tax returns
- Coordinate client audits and liaise with external auditors as needed
- Carry out other general accounting duties as required
- Provide ongoing support to management for the smooth administration of client portfolios
Requirements:
- ACCA qualified, partly qualified, or in possession of equivalent qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a client accounting role
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of financial statement preparation
- Team-oriented, innovative, and able to work under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Experience with cloud-based accounting systems, such as XERO, will be considered an asset
