Crypto Sales Manager
Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead business growth for their crypto payment services. The position focuses on expanding partnerships and merchant networks within high-risk sectors such as iGaming, betting, and alternative e-commerce. The ideal candidate combines a strong grasp of crypto payment flows and compliance frameworks with a proven ability to build and manage high-value client relationships.
This role involves end-to-end ownership of the sales process, from pipeline generation and deal negotiation to ensuring smooth merchant onboarding and long-term retention. You will work closely with internal teams including Account Management, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Location: On-Site, Sofia
Responsibilities:
As a Crypto Sales Manager, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales initiatives aimed at acquiring and retaining merchants in high-risk sectors across key global regions.
- Pipeline Management: Identify and engage new business opportunities, manage the full sales cycle from discovery through contract execution, and build a sustainable revenue pipeline.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on crypto payment trends, stablecoins, on/off-ramp models, competitor developments, and evolving regulations; use these insights to enhance sales positioning and go-to-market plans.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to ensure effective onboarding, compliance (including KYC, KYB, and AML processes), and merchant support.
- Feedback & Product Alignment: Capture market insights and client feedback to refine offerings, pricing, and feature priorities.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and sales reports, ensuring visibility on key metrics such as conversion rates, deal velocity, and retention.
- Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events and networking forums to strengthen brand recognition and develop new business relationships.
Requirements:
- Proven B2B sales experience within payments, fintech, crypto, or high-risk industries.
- Strong track record in generating new business, managing complex deal cycles, and closing high-value partnerships.
- Understanding of crypto payment systems, wallets, settlement models, and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements in high-risk sectors, including AML, KYC, and fraud prevention.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
- Results-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced international environment.
- Fluency in English (additional European languages are an advantage).
Nice to have
- Previous experience selling to PSPs, aggregators, or via partnership channels.
- Knowledge of chargeback management and fraud prevention tools.
- Existing network within the iGaming, betting, or similar industries.
