Compliance Senior
Job Description
Our client, a business advisory firm, is seeking to hire a Compliance Senior to assist with the day to day compliance matters of the firm and its portfolio of local and international clients.
Location: On site - Mosta
Responsibilities:
As a Compliance Senior, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate customer onboarding requests
• Monitor existing business relationships on an ongoing basis
• Manage the CDD process for both legal entities and natural persons
• Supervise a team of compliance executives and review their work
• Report to AML consultants and the MLRO
• Carry out customer risk assessments
• Liaise with AML software providers
• Assist with the preparation of BRA and REQ documentation
• Handle complex client structures and situations
• Liaise with authorities as required
• Plan and schedule compliance team workloads
• Ensure company policies and procedures are being followed
• Respond to client queries regarding required documents
• Input key customer data into the central database
• Attend AML training as provided by the firm
• Collect due diligence documentation, follow up on missing information, and escalate red flags
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of company and beneficial ownership
Requirements:
-
• Finance, legal or AML qualification or background
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem solving skills
• Above average IT skills, including solid knowledge of Excel
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data input
• Curious mindset and willingness to continue learning
