Country Manager - Asia
Job Description
On behalf of our client, a regulated brokerage, we are seeking the experienced Country Managers (Asia) to lead the company’s expansion across this dynamic region. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and executing national growth strategies, building and managing high-performing teams, and overseeing all business development, partnerships, and operational activities their native speaking countries.
Location: Remote (Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam)
Responsibilities:
As a Country Managers, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Design and implement a market strategy tailored to the local environment, aligned with regional goals.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities to grow client acquisition and IB networks.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of BDs with clear targets and KPIs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IBs, affiliates, and partners.
- Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Marketing to launch localized campaigns and promotions.
- Track and report KPIs: revenue, deposits, IB acquisition and retention, active traders.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date CRM management and reporting.
- Represent the company in local events, conferences, and industry forums.
Requirements:
- 6–10+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships within Forex, Equities, CFDs, or FinTech.
- Proven success in working with IBs, affiliates, or partner networks in Asia.
- Strong leadership experience managing small-to-medium commercial teams.
- Analytical, KPI-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in the local language (Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog, Malay, Thai, Korean, Vietnamese) is a strong advantage.
