Our client is seeking a Junior Accounts Clerk to support their finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial record keeping.

Location: Mosta / On-site with flexability

Responsibilities:

As a Junior Accounts Clerk, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and update financial records for different teams.
• Process invoices, purchase orders and payments with accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile accounts and prepare regular financial reports.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements.
• Work with internal teams to ensure correct allocation of expenses and revenues.
• Support the finance function with audits and compliance checks.
• Handle petty cash transactions and staff reimbursements.
• Ensure all financial transactions follow company policies and accounting standards

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as an Accounts Clerk or in a similar finance role.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong communication skills when liaising with colleagues across departments.
