Our client is currently expanding their accountancy function and is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Client Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for qualified professionals as well as individuals who are currently completing their studies and seeking to build a long-term career in accounting.

Location: Hybrid - Msida

Responsibilities:

As a Client Accountant , your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Work collaboratively within the team to manage various accounting tasks

• Prepare, maintain, update, and finalise accounting records

• Process both technical and non-technical data in accounting systems

• Prepare and submit personal and VAT tax returns

• Prepare management accounts and trial balances

• Maintain cash books and accounting journals

• Communicate with relevant regulatory and supervisory bodies as needed

Requirements:

• Fully or partially qualified (ACCA or equivalent university-level qualification)

• Previous experience in an accounting role is considered an asset

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Maltese

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Risk-aware and focused on delivering quality results
