Associate Credit Control
Job Description
Our client is a well-established firm that provides a wide range of services within the regulatory and corporate sectors. They support businesses with compliance, licensing, advisory, and operational solutions, particularly within highly regulated industries. With a multidisciplinary team and a client-focused approach, they assist both startups and established entities in navigating complex legal and financial frameworks.
They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join their finance team, with a focus on managing the receivables ledger and supporting general finance operations.
Location: Hybrid - Msida
Responsibilities:
As a Associate Credit Control, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable ledger
- Issue invoices and credit notes in line with internal procedures
- Monitor customer accounts for missed or delayed payments
- Follow up on outstanding balances through phone and email communication
- Handle cheque and cash payments and ensure timely deposits
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Attend debtor meetings and provide updates on collections status
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to receivables
- Perform other finance-related tasks as needed
Requirements:
- A minimum of ‘A’ Level in Accounting or equivalent
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar credit control or finance role
- Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving abilities
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Clear path for career development.
