Responsibilities:

We’re seeking an experienced Senior DevOps & IT Team Leader, to lead operational execution and infrastructure automation across our client's global technology footprint. This is a high-impact role focused on building and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms while enabling seamless DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). More specifically but are not limited to:

• Manage a high-performing team of DevOps Engineers and corporate IT individuals.
• Ensure reliable and high-quality operational performance across all geographic locations, supporting consistent delivery of enterprise-grade systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams in multiple time zones to maintain aligned communication and workflow efficiency.
• Set measurable goals, assign priorities, and monitor team deliverables to ensure project milestones and KPIs are met.
• Promote a culture of continuous feedback, accountability, and performance optimization across engineering teams.
• Design and implement ongoing training initiatives to enhance technical skillsets, DevOps best practices, and team-wide productivity.
• Architect, deploy, and manage cloud-native infrastructure—preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)—with a strong focus on high availability, security, and cost optimization.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Cloud Build to accelerate software deployment cycles.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for reliable and repeatable cloud resource provisioning.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, automate root cause detection, and implement self-healing systems for greater operational efficiency.
• Enforce cloud security best practices across deployment workflows, infrastructure configurations, and application lifecycles.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and product managers to optimize performance, deployment frequency, and service stability.
• Manage and enhance container orchestration environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for scalable and efficient service delivery.
• Implement automated systems for autoscaling, centralized logging, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog to improve system resilience.
• Lead and support incident response workflows, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and contribute to post-mortem processes to drive system reliability improvements.
