SEO Specialist

Job Description 

Are you passionate about driving organic growth and optimizing online presence in the fast-paced world of iGaming? We're seeking a skilled and results-driven SEO Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will develop and implement effective SEO strategies, analyse performance metrics, and ensure our client's digital content ranks at the top. Location: Hybrid – Saint Julian's

Responsibilities:

As an SEO Specialist, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Perform technical, on-page, and off-page SEO tasks across various client brands and websites in both established and emerging markets.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, and internal teams to implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
  • Conduct and analyze technical, on-page, and off-page audits across multiple languages and markets, with an understanding of the online entertainment landscape.
  • Understand and support the SEO strategy for relevant markets, offering actionable recommendations and executing tasks to achieve strategic goals within the online sector.
  • Demonstrate a strong grasp of technical SEO, providing recommendations and executing necessary changes to optimize websites.
  • Manage Content SEO processes from keyword and market research to content creation, optimization, and uploading, with a focus on relevant online content.
  • Maintain expertise in off-site SEO activities, including link building, internal linking, and PR-related efforts, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the online entertainment sector.
  • Ensure a healthy backlink profile across all websites and utilize off-page activities to improve rankings within the competitive online environment.
  • Evaluate websites for link-building potential and determine the value of each opportunity, considering the specific nuances of the online entertainment industry.
  • Analyse competitors' off-page strategies to identify effective practices and leverage insights for optimization in the online market.
  • Work collaboratively with SEO, Content, and broader marketing teams to identify and implement off-page initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall online marketing strategies.

    Requirements:

  • Proficient English language communication skills. Knowledge of other languages will be considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a highly competitive SEO industry, preferably with exposure to the iGaming industry.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of SEO, with a strong understanding of its application in the online entertainment sector.
  • Knowledge of key conversion metrics and how SEO contributes to them, particularly within the online context.
  • Organized and skilled at project management across multiple projects.
  • Curious about SEO, proactive when addressing performance issues.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as SemRush, Ahrefs, LRT, and others relevant to online SEO.
  • Team-focused, with natural leadership, support, and assistance skills.
  • Respectful and level-headed.
