Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support the accuracy and efficiency of our client's financial operations. Reporting to the finance team, this role involves maintaining records, preparing reports and handling essential accounting tasks. Responsibilities:

As a Junior Accountant, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

Reconcile bank statements and address discrepancies promptly.

Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Maintain organised and accurate accounting records.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.

Contribute to tax filings and compliance documentation.

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.

Preferably 1–2 years of experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero) and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.

Effective organisational and time-management abilities.

Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
