Head of Sales
Role Overview
As the Head of Sales, you will define and execute a robust sales strategy, leading a skilled team to meet ambitious business objectives. Your expertise in financial technology will help identify new market opportunities, foster strategic partnerships, and build lasting client relationships across our banking, payments, and open finance offerings.
As a Head of Sales, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Sales Strategy Development
- Craft and implement a sales strategy that aligns with our business vision and market needs.
- Identify key customer segments and competitive opportunities to position our solutions effectively.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team focused on achieving outstanding results.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and career development to foster a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Revenue Growth
- Own the end-to-end sales process, focusing on acquiring new clients while expanding existing relationships.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to secure high-value deals.
Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and nurture strategic alliances with financial institutions, technology providers, and industry organizations.
- Collaborate with partners to create innovative value propositions and maximize joint business opportunities.
Market Insights & Innovation
- Monitor industry trends, customer demands, and competitor strategies to adapt sales approaches effectively.
- Share insights with internal teams to drive product innovation and market positioning.
Sales Operations
- Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics to ensure consistent progress toward targets.
- Enhance efficiency through sales enablement tools and streamlined processes.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales leadership, ideally within fintech or financial services.
Expertise in Financial Solutions
- Strong track record in selling banking, wallet, payments, or open banking technologies.
- Proficiency in modern sales methodologies and closing high-value deals.
Leadership Excellence
- Proven experience in building and leading high-performance sales teams in dynamic environments.
- Ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of collaboration and achievement.
Strategic Mindset
- Deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
Exceptional Communication
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging C-suite executives and diverse stakeholders.
