Our client, an innovative and fast-growing digital marketing and mobile design company, is a recognised leader in the online gambling market. With a passion for creating bespoke mobile tools and leveraging expertise in digital outreach, they empower clients to connect with audiences through advanced digital channels.

They are currently on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Development Team Lead to join their rapidly expanding team in Malta.

Location: On site - Ta' Xbiex

Responsibilities:

As a Development Team Lead, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Lead and mentor the development team, offering guidance, support, and training.
Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and deployment.
Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
Manage team performance through quarterly reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments for smooth project execution.
Address and resolve team challenges, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Maintain high coding standards and best practices for quality codebases.
Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies.
Prepare weekly reports for the CTO.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
A minimum of 3 years of experience managing development teams, with a proven track record in successful project delivery.
Experience in the iGaming sector with a solid understanding of product development in this field.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages and technologies.
Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
